Oracy  Homework

What would rules for grown ups be?

This Week
We have made it! I cannot believe the first half term is done already, it amazes me how quickly each term seems to go. It has been an action packed term with PGL, assessments, recycling week, poetry day, class assemblies, bounce enrichment day, Crucial Crew visit, Year 4 swimming and the wonderful Year 3 and 4 disco to name but a few! The children have been superstars this term and shown real resilience to everything and worked so hard - I am incredibly proud. I also want to say a huge thank you and well done to staff as this term is always difficult and full on! Thank you to you as parents also for all your support, particularly this week in attending parents evening. We have been so lucky to speak to almost every single parent across the school. In some schools, this does not happen and we are really lucky to have such dedicated and involved parents - thank you! Well done also to our fabulous four Year 6 children who went to Berkhamsted School to take part in a Maths competition - I heard some questions were very tricky but you showed amazing resilience! I hope everyone has a rest over half term and finds time to spend time with the people they love and spend time doing things you enjoy! I look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday 2nd November.
Worship
On Monday, Father Stuart led worship and finished the story of Moses. On Thursday, we discussed can age stop us from doing anything and should being young stop us - you will be pleased to know the children all agreed it should not! Today we celebrated our final Values in Action of the term! Well done everyone who has demonstrated our values this half term.
