This Week
I cannot believe this is the last newsletter of 25/26 academic year! It is frightening how quickly this year has flown by us. There are so many happy and wonderful experiences the children have had: Year 6 PGL, author visits, WOW days, Year 4 ROOT'd trip, Chessington, Young Voices, Mary Poppins amongst lots of hard work in between! I say this every year but I am so incredibly proud of the team that we have built and that develop year on year to be even better! Of course, there are times when I get things wrong and children make mistakes, but I think on the whole we are so incredibly lucky to have such kind, resilient and hardworking children with such supportive parents. Before coming to Team TC, I had never worked in a school for more than three years and moving into my fifth year next year, I really do feel as though I have a found my place and have a family around me with staff, children and parents! This week is a difficult week as we will be saying goodbye to our Year 6's on Monday - but they have been so incredible and are so ready for secondary School. Remember you are all superstars and will thrive in whatever route you take. Just like the rest of the school as they move on to the next year. Although change can feel scary, it is always good to experience change and feel that feeling of uneasiness as it prepares us for life later on. It enables us to be able to deal with difficulties as we get older, that will inevitably happen. I am really looking forward to welcoming our new Year 3 cohort in September and can't wait for another action packed year next year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of Team TC for their incredible hard work over this year I am so lucky to lead such an excellent team. I want to take this moment to say thank you to Mrs Millard and Mrs Forbes for all their hard work over the may years they have been at TC and wish them all the best for their retirement. Also a big thank you to Mrs Hendeles, Miss Fielding, Mrs Parrot and Joseph (from ASC) for all their hard work and wish them all the luck in their new jobs and careers. I hope you have a lovely weekend and I will send one final email on Monday wishing everyone a lovely Summer. I hope to see as many children and families as possible on Monday.
