This Week
We started the week off with the INCREDIBLE Year 6 production - I was blown away by their confidence and drama skills and thought it was an amazing production. Well done to the Year 6 children and the team for all their hard work and effort putting it all together. It was also excellent to welcome our new Year 3's into TC on Thursday and everyone seemed to settle so well. I went round to each of the classes throughout the day and there was such a lovely calm ethos across the school. I also supervised the new Year 3's eating their lunch and then their break and I was told they thoroughly enjoyed play time as there was so much space. We had a whole school assembly of setting expectations and what to look forward to next year. We also spoke about it being normal to feel a little worried or anxious and that feeling is ok - but, we can overcome it and if we distract ourself or talk to others, that will help. Our Year 6's also had a great day at their new schools this week helping them to prepare for September. Today, our reports have been sent home and I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed reading every child's report over the last few weeks. It is always great to read the highlight of their year. Have a lovely weekend - not long to go now!
