How have you shown: Kindness, Resilience, Respect and Thankfulness this week?
This week at Thomas Coram
Wow I cannot believe we are at the end of a half term again! What a busy half term we have had this term as well, with so many different things going on, in particular our Year 6's and their SATs. Luckily, this week has been slightly more quiet and relaxed. I am sure everyone is looking forward to half term and I hope everyone gets the opportunity to relax and enjoy spending quality time together. We then have one half term left until the end of our academic year. Next half term will be busy with transition and thinking about helping the children move up to the next year group and I know we will all work together to get this right. I hope everyone has a fantastic half term break and I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday 2nd June.
Worship
On Monday, Sarah from Sunnyside came in to lead collective worship on The Conversation of Saul. On Tuesday, Mrs Bruguier led our singing worship and today we celebrated our wonderful stars of the week. We also thought about how the children have demonstrated kindness, resilience, respect and thankfulness this week.

Community Information

DENS Woodland Trail – Saturday 21st June, Berkhamsted Castle
A scenic community-friendly walk through nature, choose from a 5 or 10-mile walk (or run) through beautiful woodland and countryside. Whether walking as a family, with friends, or enjoying some alone time outdoors, whilst supporting a local charity.
It’s a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy the outdoors, take on a challenge, and help make a difference in their community. Every step taken will directly support local people facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion.

Big Green Week
As part of Berkhamsted’s Great Big Green Week, Rectory Lane Cemetery is once again running a FREE event for families on Sunday 15 June, between 10.00 and 13.00. An ideal Father's Day activity for the whole family! Drop in for an hour to their FREE Great Big Nature Hunt: knowledgeable guides are on hand to help you to discover different aspects of nature in their three green acres: bees, bugs, butterflies, newts... so much wildlife on your doorstep! Children can join in the hunt, do some crafting and enjoy a small reward at the end. Home-made refreshments available for all. The event is free, but the charity does welcome donations on the day to help look after this community space. Book tickets so they know to expect you.
