Would you rather a magic wand or be a super hero?

This Week
What a fantastic day we had yesterday! Not only was it World Book Day and we saw some of the most incredible book covers designed by the children, but it was also a glorious sunny day and the children went on the field! We celebrated World Book Day with a whole school parade of the book covers and Mrs Munro and I were blown away by the incredible designs! Well done to everyone for all the effort that was put in. Oliver from China has been chosen to be a mascot at the Six Nations Rugby for the Scotland Team and will be running out of the Murrayfield tunnel with one of the team on Saturday when they play France at 2.10pm! Today, we say a sad goodbye to Mrs Foran (one of our support staff) who will be moving down to Victoria on Monday to work with the Nursery children. We will be sad to lose Mrs Foran, but we have a new addition to TC, with Mr Morgan starting on Monday replacing her. We will also be losing Mrs Nield (Year 4 TA) at Easter, as she leaves to retire. Mrs Nield has worked at TC for an incredibly long time and has been a fantastic member of the team and we will be sad to say goodbye to her when she does go. I think I would definitely rather a magic wand than be a super hero, as I could then decide on anything I want to do. Look forward to hearing next week what you would rather. Just as a reminder, we have the Junior FOTC Fun event on Sunday 22nd March, the children are working super hard to set up different stalls and will be a really fun day for all of the families. Please do come along and support. We are aiming to raise £1200 this year, with this event hopefully raising around £600 for classroom equipment and playground equipment. More info will follow from FOTC. Have a lovely and restful weekend.

Worship
On Monday, Mrs Forde led worship and we spoke about resilience and not giving up in line with Jesus and the Disciples and Luke 5 1:11. Today we celebrated Madagascar's wonderful class worship - well done Madagascar! It was fab to hear everything you have learnt.
