This week
We started this week with our Year 5 Viking WOW day, which the children thoroughly enjoyed and it was great to see the children sorting modern day and Viking items and discussing why they may be in those categories. A big thank you to everyone who came to Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, it is always great to see so many parents supporting us as a school. Please see the PowerPoints in the Important Information section. As I said on Tuesday, I really want this year to be about building that team spirit and that ethos on everyone being part of the TC family. Our priorities this year are foundation assessments, Oracy and Maths and I am looking forward to the journey we will be on this year! Next week we have our Year 6 PGL trip, I will be out for the whole week with them, if you do have any queries please email admin and I will get back to you when I can. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
Worship
On Monday, Father Stuart led our worship outside and thought about creation and what creation means to everyone. On Wednesday we started our in class worships by looking at Famous Christians, this week we focussed on St Gregory the Great who was a Pope and Religious Leader around 600AD. Today we focussed on our Values in Action and the children spoke about how they have lived our values this week.
