This week
We have had a relatively quiet and calm week here at Team TC, but I am sure the next two weeks are going to be crazy busy with all of our Christmas countdowns. On Wednesday, a lady from parliament came in to talk to Year 5 and 6 about parliament and democracy and the rule of law. It was really interesting to hear and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. We keep crossing our fingers to get a place to visit parliament with our pupil parliament! Mrs Randall  and I also went to see Mrs Giles this afternoon, she said "thank you so much for the gifts and she really appreciates all your kind thoughts". We look forward to welcoming her back into school at some point in the Spring Term.  Two of our pupils Jasper in Y6 and Felix in Y3 did a sponsored walk in London earlier this week. They raised almost £200 for homelessness charity Shelter, we are super proud of their achievement. I am looking forward to all the Christmas cheer we have over the next two weeks! Have a wonderful weekend!
Worship
On Monday, Father Stuart came in to lead worship on John the Baptist and shared the important message that we are all good enough and God can see that! It was very touching and made a few members of staff (myself included) emotional! On Tuesday, Mrs Bruguier could be heard singing with the children practising their hymns for church! On Thursday, we were lucky enough to have a performance by our drum and piano players - well done for an excellent performance! Today, we celebrated our values in action!

SEN coffee afternoon
We are delighted to have representatives from SPACE (an award winning Hertfordshire based charity supporting families of children and young people who are on the Autistic Spectrum (ASD), have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or other neurodiverse conditions) leading a coffee afternoon for all TC parents/carers/family members who wish to find out more about how their child can be supported. SPACE are a fantastic local resource with a wealth of expertise on neurodivergence and we are sure that parents will find the session really useful.
