This week
What a crazy week of weather with the unexpected snow fall on Wednesday! The children were all super excited to see the snow and it is always lovely to see their excitement with snow! Yesterday, we welcomed our advisor in from Hertfordshire to look into Inclusion across the school and meet with Mrs Thomson and I. Inclusion is a major part of the new Ofsted updates so we want to ensure we are ready! She was so complimentary of so much of the provision we offer and it made me incredibly proud. She said she could tell how happy and engaged the children are during the lessons and the relationships with staff were incredible creating such a warm and wonderful environment. It was great to go round to each of the classes and for the children to share their learning journeys! Today, Croatia demonstrated their excellent learning in their class worship and I loved hearing all the amazing things they have been learning about, well done Croatia!

Worship
On Monday, Sarah came in to talk to the children about the bible story Isiah. On Wednesday, the children looked at Charles Dickens as the famous Christian and today we celebrated Croatia's class worship!

The Hospice of St Francis
🎄 Would you like to Wear It Festive whilst spreading joy to support our care? 🎅

This festive season, let your jumper (or holiday wear) do the talking! Join us for ‘Wear It Festive’, a fun and meaningful way to celebrate Christmas while supporting your local hospice.

You can be as creative as you like, but for just £2, students, staff and businesses can wear their most joyful, jolly, or downright outrageous Christmas wear to school and work. Whether it’s glittery, shiny, or absolutely terrible, every festive outfit helps fund our important care for those who need it most in our community.

 How it works:

  • Pick your favourite festive jumper, scarf, hat, t-shirt, costume or even socks
  • Bring £2 to school or your workplace on the designated day
  • Wear it with pride knowing you are helping make a difference

All proceeds go directly to the hospice, helping provide vital support to patients and families. Your ongoing support is a gift to local families.
