Welcome
Thank you for the interest you have taken in our school.
The pupils, staff and governors of The Thomas Coram CE School extend a very warm welcome to you.
Let all guests be welcomed as Christ. (Rule of St Benedict, 53:1)
We hope all children who come here will be happy and successful, and we look forward to working with you in a constructive and mutually respectful partnership to support your children’s learning, to live out our motto of building a family where we are ‘flourishing in learning and love’.
I am very proud to lead such a dedicated, hard-working and talented team! We are committed to continuing to provide a superb education – the very best learning experiences – for all our pupils and, with our extensive learning resources, enabling them all to thrive and develop their own unique gifts and abilities to the full.
Although we are a church school, we welcome children from all faiths and no faith. Our core Christian values are respect, responsibility and friendship; these values were chosen by children, parents, staff and governors and we believe they are essential to enable every child to grow up as happy, secure and well-adjusted individuals. These values firmly underpin all that we do.
We aim to ensure that our young people succeed and become confident young adults, equipped for life in the 21st century. We look forward to working in partnership with parents, pupils and the wider community as we build on past successes and move confidently into the future.
As a junior school, we work very closely with our partner infant schools – Swing Gate and Victoria – and all schools in Berkhamsted, Northchurch and Potten End through the Berkhamsted Partnership of Schools.
We hope that our website will help you to learn more about our Church of England school, its aims and its aspirations. Do contact us if you have any queries or require additional information and keep up-to-date by liking us on Facebook or following us on Twitter.
