Design and Technology (DT)
Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.

Design and Technology at Thomas Coram develops children’s skills and knowledge in design, structures, mechanisms, electrical control and a range of materials, including food. It encourages children's creativity and encourages them to think about how to problem solve and resolve important issues. It is important that our children understand that Design and Technology can lead to a great many career choices including fashion designer, tailor, product designer, architect, software engineer, civil engineer, carpenter and chef. Coverage of skills and knowledge are centred on The National Curriculum and Planbee.
When I grow up...
